World Politics Watch, a new Web publication about foreign policy, national security and international affairs, is seeking experienced freelance contributors and experts (although exceptional writing from newcomers will be considered).
We are looking for original news, narrative and feature stories. We especially seek foreign reporting, although news stories about U.S. foreign policy and defense issues are also desirable. In addition, commentary, analysis and opinion pieces on any issue relating to foreign policy, national security or international affairs are sought. Contributions must not require extensive editing. At the moment, we can pay only a $150 honorarium for each article, but the best writers will have a chance to become regular contributors and will be exposed to a high-quality audience of foreign policy and international affairs professionals, as well as a wider audience with a serious interest in these issues.
To be considered, send a CV and at least one relevant writing sample, or send original article submissions, to Hampton Stephens at hampton@worldpoliticswatch.com.
Because of the the difficulty of managing a high volume of applicants, e-mails that do not include a writing sample and enough information to judge the applicant's qualifications will be deleted.
